Dear Ms. Roos

Dear Ms. Roos,
At times I liked having you as a teacher, but you seemed to mess it up by saying the wrong things sometimes. Like when you singled people out or made comments that were unnecessary and may have seemed harmless to you.
When you decided to choose the order of our groups based on the length of our hair, I thought that idea was inconsiderate and very uncreative. What if some students did not feel up to comparing themselves to others? Wouldn't it have been better if we had lined up the students based on a random picking of names from a hat? Or, if you had chosen order yourself? Instead, your lesson became ruined because my group members argued about who had the longer hair. In middle school, many parents cut their daughters' hair a little more than shoulder length so that it would be easier to manage. The girls argued; "Your head is tilted back", "Mine is longer", "It's not fair, my hair is tied back and the gel is holding it".
Say, Ms Roos, don't you wish that you had just decided yourself?
