Every action has a reaction I’m not sure if you can recall, but I feel as though it is completely relevant that I bring up the topic of racism in order to enlighten you. There was a time when some friends and I had entered your store and you chose to follow me around. When I was ready to pay you claimed that I had stolen something. You were so confident that I had that you said it with a tone that called for action. This triggered something in me that forced me to act in a negative way towards you, which I seldom do unless the situation deems it necessary.
I would like for you to understand that when you falsely accused me of stealing and harassed me around your establishment I knew the reasons, and I am sure you did as well. This act was performed simply because I am and will always be African American. Maybe it is that you hold some type of stereotype against African Americans, but if that is the case I find it to be irrelevant because this would have to be something that you as a person will have to overcome in hopes that you become a better person. I do not want to seem as though I am being aggressive because I am attempting to take on a passive approach and help you understand where you went wrong and how you can change. By just asking me a question that implied a motive that was not favorable you bring about reactions that are not positive.
