Letter to the waiter

Well I just want to tell you that an explanation would have helped because after the event my friend and I were feeling a bit hurt and puzzled. We felt as if we were looked upon as a color rather than people of equal status and rights. I would like to ask you why we were kicked out upon our arrival and there were a bunch of people there not eating your product. This to us was a form of racism and I am deeply saddened by the performance you showed as a waiter representing your job and as an American. But part of being a good person is to forgive, so with that said I forgive you and I know my friend does too. Just try to avoid anything like that again.
