Pretty Hispanics

Hispanics are all from the same origin either Spanish or Portages backgrounds. What I do not understand is why are we destroying ourselves as individuals and as Hispanics we all are supposed to be together. I have witnessed these hate crimes in my community and between people I know violence between Dominicans and Puerto Ricans. No race is better than the other many people cannot tell a difference between us why, because we are all the same. I do not play into the discrimination because there is no point into the stupidity displayed between who is the better type of Hispanic. What I have seen was a fight and gang battle between a Dominican gang Trinitarios and a Puerto Rican gang PBG the hatred between all of these teenage delinquents who have no knowledge of what they are doing is over nonsense shows how feeble the minds of children are. Just because people express feelings and pride for your nation doesn't mean you have to degrade another beautiful Hispanic country. The throwing of glass bottles and the ambition to tear each other flowed between the two sides gang slurs and racist remarks exchanged showing how two countries so close and so alike can be so competitive and vengeful over comments of racism. Eventually deaths and injuries were inflicted evenly between the sides causing even more commotion. In school the reference to Dominicans as platanos and Puerto Ricans as Goya has grown custom to their cultural nicknames because they are alike but yet considered different by society. They both have the same amount of rights different legal systems but they cannot be identical in every aspect. The resent death of Richard aka Lil Rich has cause dramatic change to gang violence as a whole in which the two opposing sides will have to come together in order to stop violence in a peace rally August 2nd. I am aware of this plead for peace may work but I am also aware I can be deeply affected by this uproar in racial difference. The reasons Hispanics are refereed to pretty is because of the beauty we are dismissing because of racial differences and cultural differences causing racial hatred which leads to death of many who are or may not be innocent. I also think this is an Americanized Hispanic hate between the countries because in the native countries they do not care or pay any mind to the problem. The way they speak is also depicted because Puerto Ricans speak without rolling their "R's" while Dominicans speak with the "e" and speak very rapidly. This is why they are all discriminated between themselves but should all be Pretty Hispanics.
